Cairo International Book Fair is one of the largest book fairs in the Middle East. In 2006, it was considered the second-largest Book fair in the world after the Frankfurt Book Fair. The book fair received 4,785,539 visitors in its 55th round. The Cairo International Book Fair Began in 1969 during Cairo's millennial celebration. It lasts 12 days, from 24 January until 5 February.
Maged Arian and Bebo are responsible for being there for the whole event. Still, each of MELTI's 21 employees has volunteered for one or two days to help since the number of visitors is significant. Maged's daughter helped with the setup.
4G3 and its Middle East arm, MELTI, are participating this year. All of our 100 resources are available for sale there.
We got this message from Maged today,
" Thank God, we were blessed with a non-Christian young man who asked about The Purpose Driven Life Book. An hour later, he returned with his mother (I could tell they weren't Christian from her appearance) and bought the book.
Pray that many will buy and get to know Jesus through the book fair.Pray for protection for all working there. It's such a great opportunity. And never underestimate the impact of your donations on the Kingdom!Â
