Firstly, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and prayers. Your generosity has been instrumental in enabling us to continue our work in Iraq despite recent challenges. Our original plan was to travel on April 17, 2024, to present the "Purpose Driven Life" course to 50 dedicated servants from an evangelical church in Duhok, Kurdistan.
Additionally, we scheduled meetings with pastors and leaders to introduce the 4G3 Discipleship Institute and establish new partnerships. However, due to regional conflict and airspace closures, we had to adjust our schedule. We postponed our trip and waited for the situation to stabilize before proceeding. Finally, we received clearance and traveled to Erbil on April 24, 2024, where we rented a car and traveled to Duhok to conduct vetting interviews with local pastors and ministers.Despite the challenges, we achieved significant outcomes, including commitments to implement 4G3 Discipleship Institutes and enthusiastic responses from local ministries.
Here's just a couple of highlights from the pastors and ministry leaders we met with who are excited to partner...
**Brother K. A.: Leads a ministry in Kurdistan, which serves persecuted individuals by providing financial, professional, and spiritual support. We discussed incorporating our curricula into their programs, both for local churches and online discipleship. His assistant shared a powerful testimony about the transformative impact of our "Crucible" course during a past conference, which helped Lama's husband George through a battle with cancer.
**Pastor S.: Leads the Baptist Church in Erbil and has a longstanding relationship with 4G3. Pastor S. was very excited about our latest curricula and eager to apply them in his church.
Your contributions are helping to embolden displaced and persecuted Christians to STAND FIRM IN THEIR FAITH in the Middle East and beyond. Thank you for being a vital part of this mission. More to come.Look out for Part 2 of this report soon! Keep praying! For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph. 6:12 NIV
