While they were there, a tragic incident occurred: a man was killed, and the villagers, in their grief and confusion, accused the young men of the crime. The situation escalated quickly, and the villagers held the young men captive for five days.
During this harrowing ordeal, the facilitator of the institute was deeply concerned. There was a fear that this persecution might cause the young men to lose their faith and abandon their mission. However, something extraordinary happened. Despite the danger and the suffering they endured, these young men experienced a profound sense of God's presence and protection.
When they were finally released, rather than returning defeated, they came back filled with a renewed spirit and determination! They shared how they felt God's hand guiding and comforting them throughout their captivity. This experience not only strengthened their faith but also fueled their desire to complete their discipleship training and continue spreading the Gospel.
